On May 28, 2010, Bernard “Bud” Brown passed away surrounded by his loving family. Bud began his insurance career in 1954 at Wolf Eisner and Brown in Los Angeles. He founded Hoffman Brown Company in August, 1961 which he built into a Southern California leader in the insurance brokerage industry.
Hoffman Brown Company began with two employees and currently thrives in Sherman Oaks, Calif., with a team of more than 45 people. Bud’s creativity and commitment to excellence and dedication to his community and the insurance industry is a legacy. Bud will be missed by his family, employees, clients and friends.
