The Buckner Co. Expands Employee Benefits Department

Salt Lake City-based The Buckner Company has added Larry Meyer and Chris Dahl to its employee benefits department. Meyer and Dahl join the agency with a combined 50 years of professional insurance experience. They will be focused on targeting large employer groups and helping them find solutions to employee health benefits needs.

Meyer has spent most of his career working for carrier companies. He recently served for 11 years as a large group sales carrier rep for Cigna. He is affiliated with the Health Underwriters Association and currently serves as a chairman of the Civil Services Community for the Unified Fire Authority.

Dahl joins the company with a solid insurance and sales background. Most recently, he worked for Humana as a sales executive. He has spent 20 years in the insurance industry.
