EPIC (Edgewood Partners Insurance Center), a retail property/casualty insurance brokerage and employee benefits consultant based in California, has added Michele Childers as an employee benefits account executive in its Folsom, Calif., office. She brings a strong background in marketing and product knowledge, benefit plan design and client service to the company.
As an account executive at EPIC, Childers will provide client program leadership, including overall strategy and design direction. She will also oversee the timeliness and accuracy of all deliverables and client service team management.
Prior to joining EPIC, Childers was most recently a senior broker/sales executive at BenefitMall in Roseville, Calif., where she was responsible for acquiring new clients and designing, implementing and managing all aspects of their employee benefit programs. She has also held sales and customer service positions at Secure Horizons and Liberty Mutual Insurance Co.
