IICF Targets $250K to California and Colorado Charities

The Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation is awarding $254,000 in grants to 29 local nonprofits in California and Colorado for the kickoff of 2015.

The causes supported include child abuse prevention, disaster preparedness, education and health and human services.

The 2015 Western Division Grantees are (grants range from $5,000 – $25,000):

Concord, Calif. – STAND! For Families Free of Violence; Bay Area Crisis Nursery

Denver, Colo. – Family Promise of Greater Denver

El Cajon, Calif. – Grossmont College

Fresno, Calif. – Hope Now for Youth; Reading and Beyond

Fullerton, Calif. – Center for Insurance Studies, California State University Fullerton

Livermore, Calif. – Shepherd’s Gate

Los Angeles, Calif. – Children’s Bureau; Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation; YMCA of Metropolitan Los Angeles

Morrisville, Calif. – The Redwoods Group Foundation

Novato, Calif. – Novato Youth Center

Oakland, Calif. – Fred Finch; Wardrobe for Opportunity

Ojai, Calif. – National Disaster Search Dog Foundation

Orange, Calif. – Orange County Child Abuse Prevention Center
