Police say a fatal motorcycle crash has brought Oahu’s number of deadly crashes this year to 15.
Police said the total is almost double last year at this time for the Hawaiian island, when eight traffic deaths were counted.
The motorcycle crash happened Sunday morning on Moanalua Freeway. A 31-year-old man died at the scene. Police said speed and alcohol were factors.
The man was not wearing a helmet. He has not yet been identified.
