Lockton has named Tate McCoy CEO of its Mountain West operations.
McCoy will lead more than 400 Lockton associates who serve clients from offices in Denver, Phoenix, Las Vegas and Seattle. He is responsible for new business development and advises clients on risk management, employee benefits and insurance issues.
McCoy succeeds Chuck McDaniel who has served as CEO for Lockton’s Mountain West business for more than 20 years. McDaniel will continue in his business development and client advisory role as an executive vice president.


McCoy was previously an executive vice president with Lockton.
McCoy’s appointment follows recent promotions of Kevin Cummings as president of the Arizona office and Leo Tokar as president of Lockton’s Mountain West employee benefits operations.
Lockton is a global professional services firm.
