Aon plc named Jillian Slyfield as the firm’s chief innovation officer.
Slyfield, who is based in San Francisco, California, will report to Aon CEO Greg Case and join the Aon executive committee. Slyfield assumes the responsibilities of Tony Goland, who will retire at the end of 2021.
Slyfield joined Aon in 2015 and most recently served as Aon’s digital economy practice leader. Prior to joining Aon, Slyfield was an advisor to mid-size and global organizations.

Alliant Insurance Services named Meghan O’Malley first vice president.
O’Malley will lead the Western region, providing cyber solutions for Alliant clients located west of the Mississippi River.
O’Malley was previously divisional director for cyber and technology solutions at Howden Specialty in London.
Alliant is a distributor of diversified insurance products and services.
