San Diego, CA, January 7, 2019 – DS Services of America, in partnership with their broker Beecher Carlson, recently selected American Claims Management (ACM) to handle claims management in a portion of the states in which they operate.

“In our selection process, we looked at the technology innovations, claims records and service standards of a number of claims administrators to handle the workers’ compensation and auto liability claims for our client, and ACM exceeded our standards,” said Christian Florence, managing director of Beecher Carlson and ZOOM® leader. ZOOM® is Beecher Carlson’s workers’ compensation loss reduction program.

“We are delighted to collaborate with Beecher Carlson to deliver optimum claims management results for their client, DS Services of America,” said Dhara Patel, ACM president.

Patel estimates that in the first year alone, ACM will be responsible for both administration and claims account oversight for approximately 1,000 claims in 31 of the 48 states in which DS Services operates. Some 90 percent of those claims are workers’ compensation.

Additionally ACM will be directly responsible for the administration of all auto liability claims that occur, estimated at 120 annually.

DS Services of America, Inc. provides bottled water, coffee and tea and related supplies and equipment, plus equipment and services for water filtration systems, for offices, restaurants, retail outlets and homes across the country.
