New York, NY, April 2, 2020 – Skarzynski Marick & Black LLP continues to grow and is excited to announce the addition of partners Samantha Riley, Jessica Cavallo and Suzanne Whitehead; the promotion of Rebecca Amdursky; and the arrival of counsel Juan Luis Garcia.
Samantha Riley and Jessica Cavallo have joined the firm’s New York office as partners, bringing a robust practice representing Lloyd’s syndicates and other insurers in complex coverage matters, particularly involving cyber, technology and media liability, as well as other professional liability and specialty policies.

Suzanne Whitehead has also joined the New York office as a partner, bringing extensive counseling and litigation experience involving commercial general liability, employment practices liability and other insurance lines. Suzanne has authored several publications on a wide range of insurance topics and is active with the Defense Research Institute, including serving on its Insurance Law Steering Committee and Complex Coverage Forum. “We are thrilled Suzanne has joined our firm,” said Michael Marick. “Suzanne brings both the coverage litigation talent and commitment to excellence that are the hallmarks of our firm.”
The firm celebrates the promotion of Rebecca Amdursky to counsel. Juan Luis Garcia has also joined the New York office as counsel. Juan Luis has a deep background in commercial litigation, with a concentration on insurance coverage disputes.
