New Catastrophe Services contracts are expected to secure Catastrophe Claims Administration Services as part of the company’s ongoing Catastrophe preparedness and response to large claim volume events.

Baton Rouge, LA, December 15, 2022 – Louisiana Citizens Property Insurance Corp. (LCPIC), today announced its issuance of a new request for proposal pertaining to the company’s search for vendors to service insurance claims after a catastrophe, such as in response to a hurricane. LCPIC looks to build upon its current Catastrophe preparedness model that has been robustly developed over the past 10 years enabling them to be ready to respond to a 50,000 claim event.

LCPIC’s policy count is now approximately 130,000, up from 41,000 in 2021.

Proposals from applicants can be submitted for Catastrophe Claims Administration Services. The Catastrophe Claims Administrator will be responsible for overseeing the claims processes during a CAT, as well as, providing field adjusters, desk adjusters, and customer service representatives to handle the corresponding claims immediately following a catastrophic event.

The deadline for submitting proposals is 4:00 PM Friday, January 31, 2023. To obtain the full RFP specifications visit www.lacitizens.com. You can also send questions to:
