Pharmacies exist to dispense legally prescribed medication. The defendants in this case do not produce the opioids/drugs/medication. They also do not prescribe. They fulfill.
You do not have to be a rocket scientist to arrive at this conclusion, although it seems jurors are just happy to punish companies or blame anyone for the ills of society through ridiculous verdicts and financial penalties.
Clearly not reasonable or rational people on these juries.
