Is That a Giant Commission Check on My Desk? NOPE…It’s Chuck Testa!

If you don’t know what the heck I’m writing about when I mention the name, feel free to laugh about it here:

I bring this up because I feel like people need to have more FUN in their marketing efforts. This guy has a taxidermy business in the small town of Ojai, CA. Taxidermy! With some creative and fun marketing, he is now a viral – NOPE! Chuck Testa – sensation. Why not make things more fun in the insurance industry?! It can happen, folks. I’ve seen you all at the after parties.

One of the coolest shows I got to be a part of was a few years back at IIAB Arizona. An insurance company took up 4 booth spaces and brought in a race car with their logo on it and all of the fun accoutrements slapped to the side and top of the race car.

Guess where all of the attendees ended up spending most of their time? It was something different; it was something fun. Not only did they draw the attendees in, but the attendees stayed for a long time. (They may have also been the company with the big after party :), but I digress.)
