E & O Insurance Coverage

Post by flyeres »

Are there any E & O companies you would recommend getting coverage through? We have an independent life &health agency and are bringing on P & C lines. The appointments with the P&C companies we are looking at require 1 Million in E & O coverage. So far, the best rates I have found are through CalSurance. Are there any others I should look at?

Hi There, flyeres.

If you are a member of NAIFA you can now access a pretty good program. Until recently they didn't do all that a P/C shop, or multiline shop needed, but that has changed. Look them up. Try www.naifainsurance.com. Good luck.

Thanks. I checked with the NAIFA program (its through Affinity Ins. Services)... its seemed pretty cost-friendly, and you get a NAIFA membership with it... but they said we must have 3 years experience on the P&C side under our belts to qualify for their coverage, which we don't have. I was pointed towards Rockwood Ins. and am looking into their coverage now.

If you are planted with Infinity Ins. Co. they have discounted rates through CalSurance. Or, you might try USEO.com and they will shop through their numerous markets, but I don't know what they have in CA - Good Luck!
