Florida UST Laws
I currently have a diverse book of UST/AST exposure in FL all with either Zurich or ACE. Obviously both carriers are not willing to renew the policy if 1) the insured has not updated their systems or 2) if they have plans to remove the old tanks and replace them with new tanks. I have been looking around quite a bit trying to find someone that can help resolve this issue without any luck. Is anyone out there aware of a carrier/broker that is willing to cover empty/air filled single wall tanks when new ones are installed or anyone that is willing to cover for the removal and install of new tanks? What I don't want to lose for my clients is their retro date that may range back to the early 90's. Any assistance available is greatly appreciated!
