How's Your Marketing?

Post by scott »

Simple test to see how your marketing is working...

Google your name. Unless you're at top of the search results you have work to do.

Are you posting white papers, blogging, are you getting articles published? You have to be out there so people can find you.

Our agency shows up as No.1 on Google, No.4 on Yahoo! and No.2 on Bing and we are competing with roughly 10 other agencies that have the exact same name. We also rank high in the SERPS (Search Engine Results Pages) for many other keywords we targeted. I taught myself how to code HTML and CSS so I didn't have to rely on somebody else, and did some serious research into SEO strategies. It took a full year before we started seeing any significant results and we remain proactive and constantly update and optimize our content to maintain our rankings.

sandykid,

Do you track sales results of your high ranking?

What have you seen as to the quality of the business that comes to you through SEO?

Are you targeting geographically or based on a product?
