I use tons of tools and applications, most of them in marketing, sales and lead generation. I use a CRM which is basically a contact manager that lets you keep track of any and all information you have about a person. It's a must have!

RAM, are you looking to create a website or smart phone app and want to know what software to use to do that? Or are you just looking to connect to an existing one?

Has anyone found any apps that actually work for generating leads? I have been looking in the markets via my phone but I have not found too many that seem to be all that good? Does this mean that there is a need for someone to create one?

Here are some android apps that have been used by some insurance agents: SEHmobile and StateFarm Pocket Agent.

There are also ipad apps specially developed for insurance agents such as the Annexus Income Advantage Calculator and Stats of the Union. Also some utility apps like Dropbox

It's Aspire, a web-based CRM insurance software. It has a very customizable dashboard based on user preference.
