I'm a bit biased, but can fill you in on where Iroquois comes out. Key questions are:

Who owns the book? With Iroquois, the agency retains their expirations
What's the cost to join? With Iroquois, there's no upfront fee and the dues are only $150/month.
What's the commission split? With Iroquois it ranges from 70/30 to 90/10 depending on the level of production within the agency.
Do I have to share in commissions that the cluster had no involvement in? With Iroquois, no you do not.
Is it easy to get out if I want to down the road? With Iroquois, yes.
How is business transacted? With Iroquois, the agency deals directly with the carrier. No middleman, no central placement.
Who's name is on the dec? With Iroquois, the agency name is on the dec.
