Need a new GA In New York- alternative to Davis/NewWindsor

I have been using Davis / New Windsor Agency exclusively for the last several years. As those working with them are aware, their uneven service has taken a turn for the worst lately. I would like to find an alternative place to submit applications for new business. Can anyone recommend an honest and decent wholesaler or a general agent serving downstate New York? Thanks.
