e&o RENEWAL

Post by JSJAG »

Just wondering what premiums people are seeing for their E&O renewal. Mine came in at almost $1,900 for 1mil/2mil - $2,500 ded. It covers for L,H and P&C.

I'm just wondering if it is high, low or average.

Typical E & O premiums are running in the $2,500 - $4,000 range for a $1m/$1m limit for most small insurance agents these days, so your premium looks good!

Why is ours so much? We've never filed a claim.

E&O

I hope you compared policy form when you moved your coverage. There are significant differences in coverage between carriers and price is only one consideration. Also look at the experience and track record of the E&O carrier. Prices are going up due to loss history frequency.
