High performance car insurance

Post by Porter »

I need insurance for a client who takes his high performance sports car to a race track once a month. Is there any companies that will write this.

He can buy coverage at the track - my daughter raced until recently at a local track. Your client needs to be aware that his regular insurance (including classic / specialty ) excludes racing.

houstonagent. Porter,CATHIEA, as match as I hate to brag. I race cars at Laguna-Seca. My track time is Horrible...NO you can not buy insurance at the track for your personal ride. Like I said ( R-U- buying insurance for a burn House)

I'm extremely jealous Sanddog, except that whenever I race at Laguna Seca in Gran Turismo 1-4 (Sony Playstation exclusive games) I always spin out on some of those turns. I'd love to visit the place for real and take my car around there at a reasonable (non-racing) speed.

The good news is you can. It's not cheap and must provide proof of liability. The track will not sell Comp & Coll coverage for your personal ride.
You can always do the Skip Barber cars about 500 to 900
