Foremost

I am looking at Foremost for credit challenged, out of state rentals, and dwelling polices. My current carrier Erie is pretty strict on this type of business in North Carolina. Does anybody have any experience with Foremost? Do you find them competetive in NC?

I'm in IL, and write with both Erie & Foremost. Foremost deals with non-standard risks and has a corresponding premium. Expect higher to much higher rates than if it were with Erie.

We have used Foremost for investors (from CA) buying in TX. Foremost has a good policy but it is indeed expensive.

Foremost is our first choice for mobile homes & some specialty DF in SD. We have had good experiences with them.

I'm a northern CA Farmers Insurance agent who writes Foremost occasionally. I've had good experience with them, although there products are not price competitive in my market.
