The Professional Insurance Agents of New York Inc. announced that John O’Shea, chairman of Marshall & Sterling Inc. in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., will receive the Distinguished Insurance Service award at the association’s annual conference.
The award recognizes an individual who has established a history of service, dedicated leadership and attention to the concerns of independent agents and their clients.
The conference will be held at Bally’s Atlantic City, June 11-13, in Atlantic City.
O’Shea has worked in the insurance industry for more than 50 years. He also has been a member of the advisory councils for several insurance companies.
