Confie Seguros, a national provider of personal lines insurance based in Huntington Beach, California, announced that it has acquired three new insurance brokerages in Buffalo, New York.
Confie acquired three agencies in Buffalo, all providing auto insurance — Able Insurance Agency, which has been serving the Buffalo community for over a decade; Linda’s Able Insurance, established in 1980; and Becker-Able Agency Inc., which has been serving all of Western New York since 1993. The three former owners will continue with Confie as part of the company’s focus to maintain consistency of management, Confie said.
Confie said it now has 55 locations in New York State and has completed 15 acquisitions in the Buffalo metropolitan area, where it continues as an active consolidator.
Established in 2008, Confie is a California-based national insurance distribution company primarily focused on the insurance needs of Hispanic consumers. Confie said it continues to build its portfolio of regional personal lines brokerages, and currently has annual revenue of over $350 million and over 660 retail locations. Confie is a portfolio company of Boston-based private equity firm ABRY Partners.
