Allstate Seeks to Recruit Over 100 New Exclusive Agency Owners in Northeast

Allstate Corp. announced its plan to grow its exclusive agency count and hire more licensed sales staff and financial professionals in the Northeast region.

Allstate said Monday that it seeks to appoint 63 new Allstate-exclusive agency owners, approximately 172 licensed sales staff and 25 exclusive financial professionals in Pennsylvania during the next 12 months.

The insurer also announced the following expansion goals in New England for the next 12 months: 20 new Allstate-exclusive agency owners and 50 licensed sales staff in Massachusetts; 10 new exclusive agency owners and 30 licensed sales staff in Connecticut; five new exclusive agency owners and 15 licensed sales staff in New Hampshire; five new exclusive agency owners and 25 licensed sales staff in Rhode Island; and four new exclusive agency owners and 17 licensed sales staff in Maine.

Allstate also plans to hire additional 25 financial professionals to work with Allstate agency owners in New England. Allstate is seeking financial professionals with Series 6 and 63 licenses to sell variable life insurance and annuities, mutual funds, individual stocks and other financial products, and who also may have additional licenses to sell health and accident insurance.

Allstate said the company is seeking agency owners who are mid-career, mid-level managers who want to own and operate their own business. Candidates interested in becoming an Allstate agency owner need a minimum of $50,000 of liquid capital to invest in their agency.
