Authorities say a Delaware County, Pennsylvania, nurse who said she was too injured to work was well enough to work 84 times as a fitness instructor.
The Delaware County District Attorney’s office has charged 36-year-old Jamie Scott of Ridley Township with filing false insurance claims, theft and related charges.
Philly.com reports Scott said she had injured her shoulder while lifting a heavy patient at Taylor Hospital in August. She said she was still in pain even after she was cleared for light duty.
Authorities say Scott instead reported to work teaching fitness classes at the Ridley Township YMCA.
