Satellite Agency Network Group Inc. (SAN) has hired Nick Blatchley as agency development field specialist for Western New York and Northwestern Pennsylvania.
In this role, Blatchley will be directly responsible for agency development and consulting services of SAN member agencies, with a focus on growth and income generating activities.
As a licensed insurance agent for more than 25 years, Blatchley has experience in both independent and captive agencies. He began his career in his father’s insurance agency, Blatchley Insurance of West Seneca, N.Y., where he directly contributed to the development and refinement of the company’s vision and strategy. Later, he was an owner-operator of a Farmers Insurance agency in Cheektowaga, N.Y.
Blatchley will work closely with Jeff Siebert, SAN’s regional vice president of that same region. Together, they will be a resource for agencies facing start-up challenges, growing personal and commercial lines, technology adoption and usage, as well as new business and retention strategies.
SAN Group, Inc. is an alliance of independent insurance agencies in the Northeast. It is the founding master agency of SIAA, a national alliance of independent insurance agencies.
