Mich. Farmers, Foremost Insurance Sponsor “Drive for 55” Agent Contest

February 1, 2007

Beginning Feb. 1, 2007 Farmers and Foremost Insurance invite agents to put the pedal to the metal and “Drive for 55”. This is just one way that Foremost will celebrate 55 years serving the insurance industry in June 2007.

Eligible agents register online for the incentive and for each qualifying policy they write between Feb. 1, 2007 and Nov. 30, 2007 they get closer to taking home a prize. Ten qualifying policies make the agency eligible for The “Top Driver” Grand Prize of $55,000 cash or one of the following: a car, or two Harley-Davidson motorcycles, or a mini motorhome, or a boat with a trailer, or two ATVs with a trailer or two snowmobiles with a trailer.

In addition to the Top Driver Grand Prize, Foremost will also give away monthly prizes of ten $100 American Express gift cards and one portable Garmin Nuvi 660 GPS unit. Monthly “Entry Accelerators” also award bonus chances for writing certain product lines or using updated online systems to book business.

“We significantly upgraded our online processing systems for agents in 2007,” says Arron Lamp, vice president of market management at Foremost. “We have just introduced our new Auto quoting system, billing changes and the ability to write multi-car policies in several key states. Now is a very rewarding time for independent agents,” says Lamp.

Eligible policies for the “Drive for 55” incentive include auto, home, umbrella, mobile home, motor home, travel trailer, motorcycle, off-road vehicle, snowmobile, boat and personal watercraft.

Agents should contact their marketing representative with questions. If you’re interested in becoming appointed with Farmers or Foremost contact Agency Development at 1-800-237-6136.
