Ohio Department of Insurance Director Mary Jo Hudson announced the addition of Melissa Kuhn Wheeler to the agency’s policy department.
Wheeler has five years of experience working with the Ohio General Assembly. Most recently, she served as Legislative Liaison for the Ohio Department of Alcohol and Drug Addiction services for over two years. Prior to that, she was an aide to former State Senator Kimberly Zurz. She began her legislative career as a Legislative Service Commission intern with the Ohio Senate.
Wheeler is originally from New Riegel in Northwest Ohio. She is a 2001 graduate of Ohio Northern University.
