Zurich Names Casey Sr. VP – No. American Commercial

Zurich announced that Bill Casey been promoted to the newly created position of senior vice president of regional management of its North America Commercial marketing operations. He will be based at the company’s headquarters in Schaumburg, Ill. and will coordinate Zurich’s regional marketing and distribution efforts in North America.

Casey most recently worked as the regional VP responsible for marketing and business development in New York, New Jersey and New England.

The bulletin indicated that seven regional Marketing and Regional Management executives will be reporting to Casey. Craig Fundum, Zurich’s chief marketing officer for North America commented: “During his seven years as vice president of our Northeast Region in New York City, Bill demonstrated the leadership and collaborative spirit that will be important in his new role. His role will involve helping create a more unified marketing approach that will result in our customers and distributors benefiting from an even stronger portfolio of Zurich products and services.”

Before joining Zurich, Casey worked at Allied Coverage Corporation as vice president of the environmental, wrap-up and risk engineering divisions. He also held senior positions at Willis Corroon, Reliance National and American International Group. Casey is a graduate of St. John’s University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Management. He is president of the Casualty & Surety Club of New York City.
