Geico Sells 7 Millionth Auto Policy

On the evening of March 13, 2006, Geico sales representative Stephanie Hall, of Buffalo, N.Y. made history by selling the company’s seven millionth policy. Hall, who has been with the company since December 2004, helped GEICO reach this new milestone during the company’s 70th anniversary year.

Hall sold Geico’s seven millionth policy to Kevin Percell of Shelton, Conn. who was looking for a new automobile insurer.

Before joining the Geico team, Hall was in the Army Reserves and was deployed in Iraq from March 2003 until April 2004, where she was a member of a civil affairs team.

Geico, or Government Employees Insurance Company, is the fourth largest private passenger auto insurer in the U.S.
