Good2Go Auto Insurance, Inc., has partnered with mobile software provider LifeSaver to fight distracted driving.
Good2Go Auto Insurance’s direct policyholders now have access to the The LiveSaver mobile app to help ignore the urge to use their phones while driving.
LifeSaver’s app works by discouraging drivers from using their mobile phones while driving. The app also captures telematics data which includes attempted phone usage while driving and scores drivers based on their level of distracted driving behavior, which the individual or business owner can view through LifeSaver’s Driver Portal and use to improve driver behavior.
According to Joe DeLago, CEO of Good2Go, the partnership was formed as part of the company’s effort to fight against distracted driving and help reduce driver risks.
Ted Chen, LifeSaver’s co-founder, said consumers can receive a Good2Go Cell Phone Safety Discount by using LifeSaver.
Based in Atlanta, GA, Good2Go Auto Insurance is a member of the family of American Independent Companies Inc. Good2Go Auto Insurance specializes in offering minimum limits car insurance, while also offering collision and comprehensive coverage, to underserved drivers.
LifeSaver is privately held and based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
