McQueary Henry Bowles Troy Named One of the Best Companies in Texas

Dallas-based McQueary Henry Bowles Troy L.L.P. (MHBT), one of the largest privately owned insurance and risk management firms in the U.S., has secured the 27th spot on the first annual “50 Best Companies to Work for in Texas” ranking, featured in Texas Monthly magazine’s February issue.

This competition is a new initiative dedicated to finding and recognizing Texas’ best employers. MHBT will receive its honor at a gala awards luncheon on February 8 at the Capitol Marriott in Austin.

Spearheaded by Best Companies Group, in conjunction with the publishers of Texas Monthly, the Texas Association of Business (TAB) and the Society for Human Resource Management – Texas State Council (TX SHRM), the program is a multi-year initiative to motivate companies in the state of Texas to focus, measure and move their workplace environments towards excellence.

The selection process, conducted by Best Companies Group, was based on an assessment of each company’s employee policies and procedures and the results of an internal employee survey. Each participating company also received an Assessment Findings Report to enable them to develop plans and implement steps necessary to create a great workplace and continue to improve the performance of their business.

The “50 Best Companies to Work for in Texas” initiative is similar to the famous Fortune magazine list.
