Professional Underwriters’ Public Entity Programs Available in Texas

Professional Underwriters, a national program administrator for public entities, announced that their public entity programs are now available in Texas.

Professional Underwriters will offer casualty line coverages through their Textbook insurance program for private and public schools, kindergarten through 12th grade, as well as community colleges. The Community Works program is designed for municipalities including cities, towns, water and sewer authorities, and other public entities.

As a program administrator for public entity business, Professional Underwriters said it uses strategic partnerships with insurance carriers and agents to achieve highly profitable and effective results. Through these partnerships, Professional Underwriters is empowered to build public entity portfolios of business that produce solid underwriting results while maximizing producer revenue.

Professional Underwriters’ Textbook insurance and Community Works insurance programs are the company’s primary focus. Textbook was designed to meet the insurance needs of public and private schools, while Community Works serves the municipality and public entity marketplace.

Both programs are supported by experienced public entity underwriters, the financial strength of an A. M. Best “A” rated carrier, a broad range of coverages and eligible classes, as well as public entity risk control assessment and risk management consultations.

Professional Underwriters also serves as group manager for New York State Public Entities Safety Group 497 and New York State School Safety Group 491.
