Richard Daiker, president of the Texas-based commercial insurance and risk management firm K&S Insurance Agency, announced that John D. Marek has joined the company as partner.
Daiker said that Marek will help lead the firm’s new business recruitment and sales management.
A specialist in casualty-driven businesses, Marek’ began his insurance career in the early 1990s. He is the current president of the Independent Insurance Agents of Dallas. Prior to this appointment, Marek was a top producer for a Dallas-based insurance agency for 17 years. His areas of focus include construction, manufacturing, wholesale distribution, and property.Marek has earned designations as both a Certified Insurance Counselor and Certified Risk Manager.
Founded more than 30 years ago, K&S Insurance Agency specializes in commercial insurance, surety bonds and risk management solutions in a variety of industries, with a focus on construction.
