Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. announced it has acquired Meyers-Reynolds & Associates Inc., a retail insurance broker headquartered in Oklahoma City, Okla. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Formed in 1985, Meyers-Reynolds & Associates (MRA) provides commercial property/casualty insurance products and risk management services to clients worldwide. The firm specializes in insurance programs for the utility/power generation and energy industries.
Lee Reynolds, David Brown, Paul Brown and their associates will continue to operate in the company’s Oklahoma City and Tulsa locations under the direction of Michael Henthorn, South Central Regional Manager of Gallagher’s retail property/casualty brokerage operations.
Arthur J. Gallagher & Co., an international insurance brokerage and risk management services firm, is headquartered in Itasca, Ill., has operations in 16 countries and does business in more than 110 countries around the world through a network of correspondent brokers and consultants.
