Specialist (re)insurer, Lloyd’s, has appointed Enya He as regional director for its newly-established South Central United States region. She will be based in Dallas and be responsible for market development activities in Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas.
Prior to joining Lloyd’s, He served as associate professor, Risk Management and Insurance, at the University of North Texas. In that role, she built strong relationships with many of the brokers, coverholders, insurers, risk managers and industry trade organizations Lloyd’s considers among its most important business partners.
He earned her doctoral degree in risk management and insurance from the University of Georgia and is a fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute (FCII).

Before pursuing a career in higher education, she worked in her native China for Ping An Insurance Group, Tong Tai Insurance Brokerage and Swiss Life Group (China).
She is a member of Academic Advisory Council of the Professional Liability Underwriting Society (PLUS) and a member of the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation’s Texas/Southeast Division board as well as the Advisory Council of Journal of Reinsurance.
