GEICO’s Dallas regional office is moving to a new location at 2280 North Greenville Avenue in Richardson, Texas. The new Dallas office will house more than 2,000 GEICO associates over time and provides more opportunities for future jobs, growth and expansion.
GEICO’s new Dallas office features 242,000 square-feet of floor space in a campus styled setting and offers associates additional parking. The new location is also close to the Galatyn Park DART light rail station and numerous bus routes.
The new office is just a short distance from GEICO current Dallas location.
GEICO has a long-standing history in the state. The company was founded in Texas during the midst of the Great Depression by Leo and Lillian Goodwin in 1936. The Dallas regional office opened in June 1986 to support the company’s Southwest expansion.
In 2015, GEICO reached a significant milestone of 1 million auto insurance policies in force in the Lone Star State. The move to Richardson coincides with GEICO’s 30th anniversary in the region.
