ACE USA Names Shevlin Southeast Assistant Vice President

ACE USA, the U.S.-based retail operating division of The ACE Group of Companies, has named Jim Shevlin assistant vice president and regional business development manager for ACE USA’s Southeast Region. Based in Atlanta, Shevlin will manage distribution, product sales and marketing and producer relationships for ACE USA’s Southeast Region. He will be responsible for North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee and Florida.

“ACE USA’s regional business development managers lead our efforts to expand ACE’s market visibility, enhance customer service levels and grow our business,” Rob Huber, senior vice president and regional executive officer for ACE USA’s Southeast Region explained. “Shevlin has a diverse background in the insurance industry and a deep knowledge of ACE and the Southeast market.”

Shevlin most recently managed sales and marketing for ACE Select Markets, the specialty personal lines division of ACE USA. He joined ACE in 2002 as a member of the management team responsible for overseeing sales and account management for a division that marketed personal insurance products to Fortune 1000 clients.

Prior to joining ACE, Shevlin held senior business development and marketing positions with MetLife, AIG, Allmerica Financial, and Continental Insurance/CNA Financial. He also has served on several insurance industry association boards, most notably the International Mass Marketing Association and Mass Marketing Insurance Institute.
