Booth Retires; Beller to Manage Hull’s Tampa Branch

April 3, 2006

Susan ‘Susie’ Booth, one of two employees who in 1979 started the St. Petersburg branch of Hull & Company, retired March 31. At the same time, the company announced that Larry Beller will replace Booth.

During Booth’s tenure as branch manager, Hull’s Tampa Bay Branch grew significantly and is now the second largest branch in the Hull network.

“Susie brought many years of enthusiasm and experience to the table,” Richard Hull, CEO, said. “Her love of our business and, more importantly, our company, is something I will always admire. Although we will miss Susie tremendously, we wish her the very best of luck.”

Beller, current assistant branch manager and head of Commercial Lines, will replace Booth as the new vice president and branch manager.

“It is comforting to know that someone of Larry’s caliber is going to take over such a vital job within our company,” Hull said. “Not only is Larry qualified, but he is a longtime veteran of Hull & Company having worked in the Fort Lauderdale office for several years before transferring to our St. Petersburg office 22 years ago. We are thrilled at the prospect of Larry leading our team in Tampa Bay and wish he and our folks there all the best as they make the transition.”
