After allegedly being caught on tape playing softball and using a slide at a water park, a Ventura, Calif. woman pleaded guilty to insurance fraud according to The Los Angeles Times.
Darlene Berdeaux was charged with workers’ compensation fraud, and is slated to be sentenced May 6. According to the report, Berdeaux’s hand was burned while working in 1997. Investigators reportedly raised concerns when they obtained videotapes of Berdeaux playing in a softball game and riding a slide at a water park.
