Reardon Joins International E&S Brokers in Dual Roles

Charles Wardlaw, CEO, and Kevin Crombie, president of Encino, Calif.-based International E&S Brokers Inc., announced that Vince Reardon has joined International E&S in the dual role of underwriting manager for International E&S Contract Companies and manager of open market placements.

Reardon has more than 30 years experience as a property insurance specialist. Previously he was the property manager for Crum & Forster’s Los Angeles office and was the founder and president of G V Reardon & Associates, the original West coast managing general agent for the RLI Insurance Company.

Wardlaw noted, “Vince brings the expertise to handle accounts as diverse as pyrotechnic manufacturers to multi-layer worldwide Fortune 500 accounts. He is considered an expert in evaluating California Earthquake Risk, with experience in underwriting all aspects of earthquake risk to placing working and catastrophic treaties. He was a key associate involved in the original RMS beta site for modeling earthquake accounts.”

Reardon will also assist the broker community in placing property risk, including $100,000 dwelling policies, and will underwrite contracts for high-valued homeowners, small property owners ($100,000 to $500,000) and Builder Risk Coverage.
