Kaplan Financial, San Francisco, a provider of education and compliance solutions for insurance and financial services organizations and individuals, was recognized for its contributions to insurance education and to the Society of Insurance Trainers (SITE) organization, as it recently received the SITE 2006 Corporate Award at SITE’s 53rd Annual Conference.
Upon accepting the award, Andrea Mainelli, CEO and President of Kaplan Financial said, “The Kaplan Financial people in this room are the ones who make things happen. They are tireless promoters of insurance education, and we are proud to work alongside the SITE organization to build the skills of insurance trainers. This award demonstrates our support of the industry’s training directors, course developers and teaching professionals.”
“SITE does not present this award every year, only when a corporate member such as Kaplan Financial demonstrates an unusually high level of service to the group and to the industry,” said Susan Cohen Slavet, President of SITE.
Cynthia Davidson, CIC, ITP, will serve as SITE’s new president for the 2006-2007 society year. She is Kaplan Financial’s vice president of insurance product management.
