G.J. Sullivan has appointed Terrence Dwyer branch manager of the company’s new Northern California branch office located in Oakland.
Dwyer has more than 20 years experience managing wholesale brokerage and managing general agent operations in Northern California such as Stewart Smith in San Francisco, Crump E&S in San Francisco and more recently Dwyer & Associates in Oakland.
After selling Dwyer & Associates in 2004, he volunteered with Health4kids in Oakland, where he led an initiative to secure and deliver food to more than 800 at risk children within the Berkeley and Oakland communities. He also was active with Habitat for Humanity and served as a global village team leader, in which he led home building teams to the tsunami impacted areas of Thailand, the hurricane devastated areas of New Orleans and into poverty stricken areas of Uganda. He continues to be actively involved in building Habitat homes in Oakland.
