Jackson Becomes President of the Alliance
The board of directors for the Alliance of Insurance Agents and Brokers has elected Debra Jackson as the association’s new president/CEO. Jackson replaces Joe Jimenez.
Jackson of Trident Insurance Agency, Woodland Hills, is the second generation in her family to serve as Alliance president, following in the footsteps of her father, Nel Burdick, who served two terms in the 1980s. Trident Insurance is one of the most long-standing members of the Alliance.
Alliance Executive Director David Nielson, CIC, commented, “Debra Jackson is a fantastic choice as Alliance president. She is level headed, a visionary, and great people-person. I am very excited to work with her throughout her term.”
The Alliance Board also installed several new officers:
Ken May is now vice president, and will also serve chair the Alliance’s North San Diego meetings.
Ramon Altamirano, of the Insurance Center, Citrus Heights, is treasurer/CFO and will chair the group’s Sacramento meetings.
Jerry Conrey, of Conrey Insurance Brokers and Risk Managers, Tustin, is secretary.
