National Contractors Insurance Co. Redomesticates in Montana

National Contractors Insurance Co. Inc., a risk retention group specializing in general liability insurance for licensed residential and commercial general and artisan contractors, has redomesticated to Montana. NCIC writes the classes of: roofers, foundations, excavators, fire sprinklers, paper general contractors, custom home builders and developers, new ventures and 50 other classes of artisans.

The policy is available on an occurrence – manuscript form, with an optional – two-year susnet available in all states except Florida. Coverage is provided by NCIC, with reinsurance rated “A-” by A.M. Best. Other features include: $500,000/$1 million, $1 million/$1 million, $1 million/$2 million limits of liability; self-insured retention of
$1,000, $2500, $5,000, $7,500, $10,000; gross receipts basis. New ventures are welcome with resume of experience required. POlicy term is for one year only. Premium financing is avialalbe at 25 percetn down plus 100 percent of applicable fees due at binding, or own financing. A blanket additional insured endorsement is issued with each policy. A.I. primary wording is $200/each. Waiver of subrogation is $300/each. Torch-down sublimit is $25,000 standard, with option to buy up to $50,000 for 10 percent of premium.

The program is available in Arizona, California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Florida, Illinois, Nevada, New Mexico, New York, Texas and Utah.
