The California South Bay Chapter of the National Association of Insurance Women (International) elected its offices for the 2010-2011 term, begining July 1. Elected for a second term of office as president is Carleen Armstrong, commercial accounts manager with Driscoll & Associates in Signal Hill, Calif. Armstrong has been employed with Driscoll & Associates for the past 32 years, and has been member of NAIW since 1978.
Gina Thomas Patterson, marine account manager with Roanoke Trade Services Inc. in Long Beach, Calif., was elected president-elect. She served as vice president for the 2009-2010 term of office. Patterson is also the education co-liaison and public relations liaison-elect with the California Council of NAIW.
Vice President is Kathy Marshall, assistant vice president business development, west with Paul Davis Restoration. Marshall joined South Bay Chapter of NAIW in 2009 after being a vendor/supporter for many years.
Karen Peters, owner of Peters Insurance Agency in Torrance, Calif., was elected secretary for the coming term of office. Peters has been employed in the insurance industry for 47 years, and has owned Peters Insurance Agency for the past 30 years.
Treasurer is Addie Davidson, owner of D.E. Banker & Associates in Lomita, Calif. A member of chapter since 1969 and president in 1975-1976, Davidson has held numerous committee and elected officer positions.
