Insurance Brokers and Agents of the West (IBA West) has installed new officers and directors. Tim Minaka Jr., senior vice president of FIA Insurance Services in Pasadena, Calif., was installed as president.
Other officers include: President-Elect Steven Shea of Barney & Barney in San Diego; Secretary-Treasurer Tabb G. Randolph of Wraith, Scarlett & Randolph Insurance Services Inc. in Woodland; IIABA State National Director Richard E. Dinger of Crescenta Valley Insurance in La Crescenta.
Elected to the board of directors were: Northern California Regional Director Bruce Callander of Sweet and Baker in San Francisco; Southern California Regional Director Jeff Chan of AIA Insurance Agency in La Canada; and Associate Member Director Bob O’Hollearn of Allied Insurancein Sacramento.
The following officers and directors of the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of Los Angeles were also installed: President Jon Azel of Hub International in Los Angeles; President-Elect Gail Stonehouse of Lloyd Berkett in Los Angeles; Secretary Brad Rutt of Elkins Jones Insurance Agency; Taylor Armitage of White, Sutton and Co. in Santa Monica; Director Gary Berstein of Nahi Insurance Services in Beverly Hills; Director Brandon Okita of FIA Insurance in Pasadena; and Director Ryan Wunderlich of Hub International in Los Angeles.
IBA West also bestowed its highest honor the Ramsden-Sullivan award, to Andrew Valdivia of White Sutton & Co. in Santa Monica. The award is bestowed on an individual who exemplifies the highest caliber of service to the American agency system, the insurance industry and the community.
