United Fire & Casualty Co. has named Ed Sullivan to West Coast regional manager for its regional office in Rocklin, Calif.
In this position, Sullivan will be responsible for the overall performance of the West Coast regional office.
Sullivan has served in various capacities within the insurance industry, including past management positions in underwriting and marketing.
Cedar Rapids, Iowa-based United Fire & Casualty Company is engaged in writing property and casualty insurance and life insurance and selling annuities. The company’s net premiums written totaled $453.4 million for the nine-month period ended Sept. 30, 2011, and its market capitalization was $451.1 million at Sept. 30, 2011. United Fire is rated A (Excellent) by A.M. Best Company.
